Privacy, explained clearly.

This policy describes what information Delcu collects, why we use it, and the choices you have.

Privacy PolicyLast updated 11 September 2026

Delcu builds software for businesses, institutions, communities, and individuals. Protecting the information entrusted to our products is part of building software people can rely on.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to Delcu websites, products, communications, and services that link to it. A specific Delcu product may provide additional privacy information where its features, users, or legal requirements call for it.

When an organisation uses a Delcu product to manage information about its customers, members, students, employees, or other people, that organisation may control the information. In those cases, questions about the organisation’s use of your information should be directed to that organisation.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

We collect information you choose to give us, such as when you create an account, submit a form, request a demonstration, contact support, subscribe to communications, or purchase a service.

  • Contact details, including your name, email address, phone number, organisation, and role.
  • Account information, preferences, and authentication details.
  • Content you create, upload, submit, or store in a Delcu product.
  • Billing, transaction, and subscription information. Payment card details may be processed by our payment providers rather than stored by Delcu.
  • Messages, feedback, support requests, and other communications with us.

Information collected through use

When you use our websites or products, we may collect device and usage information such as IP address, browser type, operating system, referring pages, pages viewed, feature interactions, timestamps, and diagnostic data. We use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • Provide, operate, maintain, and secure our products and services.
  • Create and administer accounts, subscriptions, and transactions.
  • Respond to enquiries, provide support, and communicate service information.
  • Understand product performance and improve usability, reliability, and features.
  • Personalise experiences and send marketing communications where permitted.
  • Detect fraud, abuse, security incidents, and violations of our terms.
  • Meet legal, regulatory, accounting, and contractual obligations.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of a contract, our legitimate interests, compliance with law, or your consent, depending on the circumstances.

4. How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us host, support, analyse, secure, communicate, or process payments for our services. They may use information only as necessary to provide services to us and subject to appropriate obligations.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, as part of a corporate transaction, or when you direct or authorise us to share it. If you use collaborative features, information may be visible to other people in your workspace or community according to your settings and permissions.

5. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or obtain a copy of your personal information. You may also withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.

You can manage many details through your product or account settings. You can unsubscribe from promotional email using the link in the message. We may still send essential product, security, billing, and account communications.

6. Security, retention, and international use

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards designed to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so we encourage strong passwords and appropriate access controls.

We retain information for as long as needed to provide services, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by the type of information and the reason it is held.

Delcu and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

7. Children’s privacy

Our general services are not directed to children unless a specific product is provided through an authorised institution, organisation, parent, or guardian. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate authorisation, please contact us.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our products, practices, or legal requirements change. We will publish the revised policy here and update the date above. When a change is significant, we may provide an additional notice through the relevant service.

9. Contact us

If you have a privacy question or want to exercise a privacy right, contact Delcu. Please include enough information for us to understand your request and identify the relevant account or service.
